This home was built for a single person. They wanted extra bedrooms for family members to come and stay on holidays. The home is located in a lovely mountain setting in the Bob Timberlake neighborhood just outside of Boone, NC. The client wanted warm tones throughout the interior of the house. The walls are a soft yellow hue, and the hardwood flooring on the main level is acacia with highlights of blonde and soft brown running throughout. The exterior is painted in complimentary brown hues to blend in with the natural setting, and features authentic pine board and batten siding. There is an over-sized island capable of seating 6-8 people in the kitchen. The kitchen is open to the living room and dining room, making for one big family space.
